AdvocacyCHA aims to keep abreast of, and comment on, a range of children’s health issues raised by Governments and other organisations. Children's Hospitals Australasia is politically affiliated, nor does it pursue a political agenda. CHA maintains a Position Statement which is comprised of the key issues which affect the capability of member hospitals and health units to deliver high quality healthcare to children. The majority of advocacy points require either policy, legislative or cultural change if members are to achieve their goal of providing accessible, high quality, cost effective service delivery. CHA is able to provide advice at the request of Government or other organisations and do so in close consultation with members.
